Sam Harder RMT
Rainland Massage Therapy
About
Sam graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, and in 2021, began her flourishing practice in Maple Ridge, where she worked alongside a team of excellent RMTs, Physiotherapists, and Chiropractors. During her time there, she was able to ask questions and learned so much more about the human body, and saw the positive benefits of her work in action! She is passionate about RMT and is always excited to progress her skills as well as pass her knowledge on when she can.

RMTs use a variety of techniques to aid in the healing of injuries, and help to alleviate the stress associated with the repetitive nature of our day to day lives. Sam uses hands-on techniques, with the help of IASTM* to help restore, and maintain the body’s optimum job: to keep you going! She thinks outside the box, and sees the body as a whole, when it comes to her recommended treatment plan for you. After a brief assessment to help her understand where your concerns are coming from, Sam utilizes Swedish massage, trigger-point release, passive and active stretching, gentle joint mobilizations, as well as many other techniques in treatment, while working within your comfort level. She has had success assisting those recovering from headaches, overuse injuries, postural dysfunctions, as well as so many other concerns, conditions, and movement restrictions!
Your goals are Sam’s goals - she is excited to work with you to further assist long term wellness, healing and function!
*What the heck is IASTM? Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation: A therapeutic manual technique, using an instrument or tool, that can assist in improving muscle function!
